Mini Film Production

On Friday we started to learn how to create small films, later that day we created our own films.
We learnt, how to compose various takes into one, how to follow a story board, how to collaborate with a group and be assigned different roles and follow them.

I would say that my group was successful at editing scenes and getting good camera angles.
The most difficult part was editing and directing, the editing part was quite challenging since I had never used Imovie, the directing was hard since I had to look over the footage multiple times with my co-editor. Next time I would like to work with a different role, I would like to try a different role to get a different learning experience.

This is my group.

Kia Kaha Kiwi

This term my school(Ouaiti school) hosted a production, our topic was kia kaha kiwi. This term my class did ours on pig hunting, I was a hunter. This year we did well when it came to the final song, we also did well at keeping  the right timings although we could of work on going slower when it was our time to go across the stage.

Tangrams

WALT: create a tengram that represents the shape of another object. Today we were doing Manaiakalani, it was quite a surprise when ended up doing tangrams. I was the only one that could make a horse, I also made a few more. Reflection: I enjoyed making these and would like to do it again. Do you think you could make eney of these?

definition of a tangram: a Chinese geometrical puzzle consisting of a square cut into seven pieces which can be arranged to make various other shapes.

2D to 3D

WALT: Draw 3D cubes to create a small/big stack.
Today our teacher decided that she would give us a bit of of a break so she got us to create some 3D cubes on isometric paper. It was a bit of a challenge but we powered  through it and got some awesome out-comes.
Reflection: I think that I have done an alright job at creating one of these awesome shapes. Its not got to much detail since this one only took me 10 minutes but I think it looks quite cool.
Next time I might make the shapes more random.

Think six, an incredible method that works for all.

WALT: Today we were tasked to create better version of Think Six (Think Six is something that we use to help us create a quality blog post.) Heres my one.
Reflection: I think I did quite well at using canva to create a think six poster.

Are zoos to be or not to be, that is the question.

This year my topic was are zoos necessary. I did well with eye contact and memorizing my speech, I also did well at being loud enough to be heard. Next time I could work on being slower and being more clear.
