Logic Math Puzzle

Painful Logic Math Puzzle

WALT: Think outside the box.

Today in Nikau class we where forced into doing horrendous puzzles for math week. Some people knew it from past experience while others(ME!!!) had to work it out totaling a time of 15 minutes to work out this small puzzle. It was a painful task but after persistence(and a bit of help) we did it. Im not going to tell you how though, so if your up to the task then give it ago all you need is scissors, an a5 piece of paper or card and a brain. Then you need to work it out. Here ill give you a hint: there is a special way to fold it.

Reflection: I would say that it was a hard task but in the end it was fun and interesting to learn.

Thanks for reading!

Making A Wreath For Anzac Day

Sorry for the late upload

Anzac biscuits

Anzac biscuits
For Anzac day my mum and I made some
Anzac biscuits.
The recipe was supposed to make 36,
but for us it made 12
so they were 3× bigger.
Here are the steps that we used.

The first step was to gather all ingredients.
100g butter, 1 tablespoon of golden syrup,
½ cup sugar, 1 egg
, ¾ cup coconut, ¾ cup rolled oats,
¾ cup of plain baking flour
, 1 teaspoon baking soda and finally
1 tablespoon of hot water.
melt the butter and the syrup in a large saucepan.
Now let it cool
Now add the sugar, coconut, rolled oats and flour together.
Next dissolve the baking soda in water and then mix it in.
Now get a teaspoon and place balls of the mixture onto a
greased oven tray.
After that squish them down with a fork to make them
flatter but not no flat because then they will go black.
Finally bake them at 180c for 15 minutes or
until they are golden.

Reflection: Personally I think that we did a great job
seeing as they
tasted delicious all though we could have made more
if we had a
bigger oven tray and a bigger oven.
Thank you for reading my blog post.

(Im not sure why but it wont let me make the table the right size, if you think you know
how to fix it or you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments.
Thanks in advance.)

Banna Loaf For Inquiry

Name….. Charlie
Title…… Banana Loaf For Inquiry
Hi as my blog suggests my name’s charlie and for inquiry we got to choose one of the following
to do at the end of the day; Cooking, Gardening, Science and coding. I chose cooking and made
banana loaf with my mum's supervision so nothing goes wrong.
Reflection: It went well is just it was a bit dense and could of done with a bit longer in the oven.

First I got my ingredients.
Then I pre heated the microwave oven to
180℃
Next I Sprayed the loaf tin and lined it
with baking paper and proceeded to
lightly spray it.
After that I mashed the bananas in a large
bowl.
Then I added all of my wet ingredients;
½ cup Apple Sauce,1 Egg,¼ cup Oil and 1
tsp Vanilla Essence. Then I mixed it all up.

Following after that I added my dry
ingredients; ½ cup Brown Sugar,
1½ cups Flour,
½ tsp Baking Powder and 1 tsp Baking
Soda. Then once again I mixed it in.
After I did one final mix up.
Then I placed it into a lined, greased loaf tin
and baked it for 65 minutes until it was
cooked.
Finally I cut it up into equal pieces.
